Features
LTE Cat4 Industrial cellular router
The Teltonika RUT950 Dual SIM router combines a rugged, compact router with 4G and 3G technology. This provides speeds up to 100Mbps download and 50Mbps upload. These speeds are perfect for connecting cameras, telemetry or uploading signage content. Create a wireless access point or use the integrated 4-port ethernet switch to connect other devices. This RUT950 has excellent options to create guest networks via WiFi for up to 100 users at a time. But if you want many users with fast internet of cellular there are better options available.
Reliability and data redundancy
Maintaining an internet connection on the 4G router seems like the most basic feature and is often overlooked. With Ping reboot the teltonika RUT950 has the ability to reboot if the connection is ever lost. Preventing a onsite visit for a simple , but now costly task. Dual SIM further helps this router to be reliable. Configure when the router should switch from it's primary SIM to the second SIM. In combination with Olivia multi-network SIMs it's almost impossible to lose your connection. That's why this RUT950 is already a good option for high availability applications without breaking the bank.
The right data plan for any RUT950 use-case
Data plan for 4G/LTE as primary connection
Using cellular as the primary connection usually results in a consistent data usage per month. With our pooled data plans routers can share available data between them.
Flexible plan for backup SIM card
The dual sim feature on the RUT950 is great for data redundancy. But since this connection is hardly used, you want the costs of this connection to be minimal. Olivia’s flexible plan is a low-cost monthly subscription to keep the connection alive. Only when data on this backup sim is used, your charged with a usage fee.
Remotely access the RUT950
Several options are available to manage the router remotely. Included is our remote management solution, which allows to reach the router via our platform without a fixed public IP address. In addition, we have several VPN options to securely connect the router to any server.
